IRFilling™ Kit v2.2 Allelic Ladder

IRFiling™ v2.2 Allelic Ladder is a dedicated allelic reference designed for the analysis of results generated using the IRFiling™ v2.2 human identification kit. It contains a selected set of alleles corresponding to the STR markers included in the kit and provides reference allele positions to support accurate allele identification and calling (Allele Calling) during STR data analysis.

The IRFiling™ v2.2 Allelic Ladder contains selected alleles for 17 markers: AMXY, D7S820, D21S11, VWA, D3S1358, D19S433, D8S1179, D13S317, CSF1PO, D2S1338, TH01, D5S818, TPOX, SE33, D16S539, D18S51, and FGA.

For analysis, the Allelic Ladder is prepared in the same manner as a PCR product and electrophoresed alongside the samples using a Genetic Analyzer. Following capillary electrophoresis, the Allelic Ladder data file is analyzed together with the sample files using STR analysis software such as GeneMapper™ ID-X. Using the Allelic Ladder corresponding to the specific kit and product version is essential for reliable allele calling and accurate interpretation of STR profiles.
