Description

 

Genetic analyzers like the Applied Biosystems® 3500 and 3500xL necessitate precise spectral calibration to assess profiles generated utilizing multiple dye (fluorescence label) channels.

The KBC MC6 Matrix Standard comprises six DNA fragments, each labeled with a distinct fluorescent dye (KBC460B, KBC420G, KBC380Y, KBC340R, KBC260O, and KBC500P). Following spectral calibration using the KBC MC6 Matrix Standard, the resulting file is utilized during sample detection to compute spectral overlap and subsequently generate individual color signals.

The KBC MC6 Matrix Standard was specifically designed for application with KBC 6-dye systems and is compatible with the Applied Biosystems® 3500/xL Genetic Analyzer featuring Data Collection Software v3.0 or higher.
