IRFiling™ Globe Kit v1.2 Allelic Ladder

The IRFiling™ Globe v1.2  Allelic Ladder is a dedicated allelic reference for analyzing results from the IRFiling™ Globe v1.2 human identification kit. This product contains a selected set of alleles for the kit’s STR markers, and by providing the reference positions of the alleles, it helps ensure accurate allele identification and designation (Allele Calling) in analysis software.

This Allelic Ladder includes selected alleles for the markers AMXY, D7S820, D21S11, VWA, D3S1358, PentaD, YindelX/YB, D19S433, D8S1179, D13S317, CSF1PO, D2S1338, TH01, D5S818, TPOX, SE33, D16S539, D18S51, FGA, D10S1248, D1S1656, D12S391, DYS391, D22S1045, and D2S441.

For analysis, the Allelic Ladder is prepared just like a PCR product and is electrophoresed alongside the samples on a Genetic Analyzer. After electrophoresis, the Ladder file is imported together with the sample files into an analysis software such as GeneMapper™ ID/ID-X. Using the Allelic Ladder that matches the corresponding kit and product version is essential for accurate Allele Calling and correct result interpretation.
