Microdeletions in the <a href=\"https:\/\/pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/articles\/PMC4658835\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Azoospermia Factor (AZF) region<\/a> are among the important genetic causes of male infertility, and their detection can contribute to the investigation of infertility and decision-making regarding assisted reproductive techniques.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">This kit enables the simultaneous analysis of 29 markers in a single reaction, including 26 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/probe\/docs\/techsts\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">STS markers<\/a>, 2 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencedirect.com\/topics\/medicine-and-dentistry\/segmental-duplication\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SD markers<\/a>, and 1 <a href=\"https:\/\/pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/articles\/PMC5054066\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">STR marker<\/a>. The kit markers have been designed and selected based on the EAA\/EMQN Best Practice Guidelines for the molecular diagnosis of Y chromosome microdeletions.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">In AZFcheck&#x2122; Kit v4.2, target regions are amplified using fluorescent Multiplex PCR, and the PCR products are analyzed by capillary electrophoresis.
