This product contains a selected set of alleles for the kit&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/articles\/PMC5054066\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">STR markers<\/a> (an X-chromosome marker panel), and by providing the reference positions of the alleles, it helps ensure accurate allele identification and designation (Allele Calling) in analysis software.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">This Allelic Ladder includes selected alleles for the markers DXS1187, D21S11, DXS10101, DXS10146, DXS7132, DXS7423, DXS10148, DXS10135, HPRT, DXS10074, DXS6803, DXS10134, AMXY, DXS10103, DXS10079, DXS981, and DXS8378.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">For analysis, the Allelic Ladder is prepared just like a PCR product and is electrophoresed alongside the samples on a Genetic Analyzer. After electrophoresis, the Ladder file is imported together with the sample files into an analysis software such as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thermofisher.com\/tr\/en\/home\/industrial\/forensics\/human-identification\/forensic-dna-analysis\/forensic-dna-data-interpretation\/genemapper-id-x-software.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">GeneMapper&#x2122; ID\/ID-X<\/a>.
